I tend to enjoy a wee gin, a cheeky cocktail or of course a bit of fizz…
However, Mr.Johnson enjoys a good beer and I like to treat him to some Christmas craft beers in his Christmas Eve box; I fill a box with new PJ’s, slippers, beers and a nice snack or two to ensure I maintain my wife of the year status!
It can be a bit tricky checking if a beer is vegan as ingredients aren’t always clear so I rely on a website called Barnivore, it has an easy to use search bar so you can quickly check if alcohol is vegan friendly.
Here are the festive beers I’ll be buying this year…
Anchor Christmas – Anchor Christmas Ale is brewed to a different recipe every year, and 2018 marks the forty-fourth annual release. A few years ago I took a magnum of Anchor Christmas Ale to a dinner party, went down better than any wine!
Delirium Christmas – This seasonal brew promises some sweetness with spicy dark fruit along with the addition of malty breads. I always like to buy this one as we enjoyed a trip to Delirium bar in Brussels together a few years back so it brings back blurry but happy memories.
Brooklyn Beers – I have not been able to find their seasonal winter lager anywhere this year! However, the Brooklyn East IPA comes in red and green label which makes it festive in my eyes..
