I love Lush all year round but it is always the Christmas range that excites me the most!
Every Christmas Eve my husband gives me a gift box filled with goodies like fizz, chocolates, PJ’s and there is always a Lush bath bomb or two. Yes he is a keeper!
I was delighted to be invited to Lush Buchanan Street for a sneak peek of their Christmas range back in November and they have outdone themselves this year! There are so many new products to choose between alongside the classics ranging from cute stocking fillers to luxurious gift sets.
At the event we got to try our hand at knot wrapping using their reusable organic cotton wraps in some of their new Christmas designs, these are a great alternative to disposable wrapping paper and loads of super cute designs to choose from too.
Another packaging option is the new bath bomb cardboard holder, most carry two bombs which can then be made into fun masks but they also had a gorgeous train set design which can hold lots of lovely treats!
I had fun making my own Shoot For The Stars, a bright blue bath bomb packed full of glittery gold cocoa butter bath melts – it may not have looked as good as those found in store but it still worked a treat at moisturising my skin.
The Fly me to the Moon amazeball is a beautiful pale gold UFO bomb with a lilac lid, I peeked inside and it was full of sparkling “spacedust” – I can’t wait to try this one! Hint hint Santa.
Another favourite with my blogging babes was the Polar Bear bubble bar, I have to admit it was pretty adorable but to be honest the minty smell just made me think of foot creams.
I was given the Jingle Bells bath bomb to try which is bigger than average bomb with a simple white design and a big red bow, it is filled with blue salt crystals that leaves you with a night sky like bath and silky skin.
During the event I was treated to an arm and hand massage using the Once Upon a Time body lotion, the therapist used the naked version and it melted straight into my skin and I adored the apple scent. I was kindly given a pot to take home but I’ll definitely be buying it again.
My arm massage was followed up with the relaxing Let it Snow shimmer bar, this acted as a lovely highlighter which is perfect for the party season and is also available in a sweeter Snow Fairy-ish scent.
